This material has no vinyl coating; the strong side and weak side appear identical and are a dark charcoal color.
If you intend to apply adhesive backed lettering or graphics or plan to paint or otherwise coat this material, we recommend using the matte white vinyl coated magnet instead as it requires no surface prep prior to applying other adhesive materials.
